Today I went for a hike. And I saw a baby moose! See look....Can't you see him in those trees there? Oh, right, you can't really see him. Well he was there, I'm not lying. He hid behind a tree by the time I got my camera out. He was so cute. I stayed to see if his mama came, but never saw her. Heck, maybe it was a bear.
I took time today to soak up nature. Breath deep. Enjoy my muscles aching up the mountain. When I got to the top I found a good rock and did some yoga. A few sun salutations, a few vrkshasana(tree pose), a few utkatasana(powerful pose). It was lovely.
I've been really missing my yoga class from back home. My teacher was amazing. I miss going home after class, thinking "I stood on my head today." If you live in the Pacific NW, this is the studio Harmony Yoga to learn yoga at. It is amazing. The owner/teacher is so great! Yoga is a great practice for body and mind. I feel like a much stonger, peaceful person the more I practice.
It was a beautiful day to be out in the wilderness, taking it all in.PS- Mom, I know you worry about me hiking alone but don't. I had my bear spray on the top of my pak, so I could just reach over my shoulder and grab it at a moments notice.

You are so darn cute and I can't wait to see you in one week! :)
Always a day brightener to see a new post and new thoughts from Kelsy B!
Good thing you weren't between baby moose/bear and mama moose/bear. You are much braver than I am. :) Hey, maybe we should try that hike again...the snow *might* be gone. :)
