Made My Day

Yesterday I ventured out to a new grocery store. It is a warehouse type place that you don't have to be a member of. I can't reveal what the store is called, or else that will really reveal where I live, but let me tell you...this place is amazing. It has all the Kirkland brand things that Costco does, and regular produce and meat sections. I could get the bulk things that I could freeze, but still get small amounts of produce in order not to waste!
Here are a few of the things that made my day:

Pickled Beets- my favorite. I could eat the whole jar, but won't because it does weird things...those of you that eat beets know what I mean...
Choc. Covered Raisins- what's not to love? Little brown pebbles of heaven, I love you.
Pot Stickers- easy, delicious meal..stacey c now you know where all your pot stickers went when I babysat.
It's funny how little things like these can make your day, oh but they so do.
Hope you're all enjoying this fabulous weather!
PS- This also made my day: I had a WSU shirt on at the grocery store, and I saw a man with a wsu shirt too, we made eye contact, then he said "go cougs!" and I said "yeah!" It was a moment where I realized, I'm really not that far from home...things are going to be okay.

So was the man with the Cougs shirt young and handsome? Just wondering. Glad you found a good place to shop...but pickled beets? I think my grandma could probably give you some home-canned ones if you are interested, let me know. :)

Oh and about the word verification thing - unmen - maybe it means either eunuchs or women. My word was "ouslarg" which kinda sounds like a mean name you might call someone when you're mad.

Girl, I worried that you never ate anything. I'm happy to hear that you had a potsticker or two! Hope you are settling in and that the new job is going well. We miss you tons!
