A random list for you, as I'm not formulating thoughts well these days....
1. I bought a washer and dryer yesterday, then came home and felt absolutely miserable. Too much money. I hate being an adult. More on that later....
2. Today at orientation for my new job they gave us presents. A travel mug, that's been "branded," in other words it has the hospital logo on it, and treats from the local chocolate shop: a chocolate carmel apple on a stick, a huge brownie, and a large chocolate covered pretzel stick. Best day ever. Note: delicious treats will win your way into this girl's heart.
3. My post about "The 'F' Word" gave my mom a little too much insight into the things I do as a nurse. I said to her, "Mom, that's not even the half of it."
4. I found a rusty old wood coffee table in MT before I left. I bought it for $4 at "Thrifty Whatever," and last weekend I sanded, primed and painted. It's totally cutesy now. I'm proud.
5. Did you know my whole life fits in a horse trailer? I'm lucky enough to have a dad(and mom) who helps me move from place to place in the trusty horse-trailer he owns. It's funny to think of all your beloved things in a trailer that smells of horsey. Last night as I lay on my bed I smelled the faint smell of horse wee. Lucky girl I am.
6. I'm so thankful for my parents helping me move, not once, but twice. They helped me move to MT and now to where I am now. I couldn't do it without them. Oh and the horse trailer.
7. I haven't quite settled in to my house here. It doesn't feel like home yet. Therefore, I'm feeling a bit out of sorts. I have all these other things going on in my life and the one thing I always count on for some kind of solace, is home. It'll come.
8. My favorite Pandora station these days is "Alexi Murdoch." His tone is so smooth, laid back and relaxing. Every time I listen to him I imagine myself on a hammock falling asleep. It's nice.
9. I just finished the chocolate carmel apple. I was only gonna eat half to spread out my goodies longer(just like my mamma does- only I won't still have this carmel apple by christmas.)I'm full and satisfied. Life is good. Sleep well tonight, my friends.

Way to go on the coffee table! I love it! And how did they know that they could win you over with sweets? :) Hang in there...you will be feeling like it is home in no time. And I can't imagine any kind of treat lasting you till Christmas unless you got it on Christmas Eve. :)
With your "life is good" comment, someone else may stumble upon you by simply looking for a new t-shirt! Lol. ...and I bet your mom was just as mortified as I am about the manhandling!
